Editor's review
This software tool will enable you convert PDF documents to Word.
PDF is the industry standard for document interchange. Thus when working with collaborators, partners and even customers and prospects you would come across these documents and the need to modify them. The tools required to edit, modify and recreate PDFs are expensive when bought from Adobe. However if there were tools that could do that at a more affordable price, they will be a boon. This product, named Kernel for PDF to Word is one such tool. It retains the data structure, formatting and properties of the files intact. The utility will also preserve all data, OLE objects, forms, graphs, hyperlinks, tables and other information while converting to word. It also defines the page order in the resultant word file after conversion.
This is a batch processor and thus can save you from a lot of hassle with a bunch of files. The interface is quite intuitive and simple to use. No particular skill will be required of the user as long as he/she knows how to use the computer. The interface is well laid out, making it easy to use; and easily accessible controls. The PDF to Word converter tool is a standalone software and does not need the presence of Acrobat tools or the Office tools. You are required to simply collect a batch of files either through the Windows explorer like interface or by drag & drop. You can drag in an entire folder into the work area. Specifying the destination folder and following the wizard for settings is all that is required to start conversion. This is a good product, has useful features and could be handy in the areas mentioned above.
